In this two-day workshop you will
• Tune into your body and connection to the earth
• Feel the earth as a living organism
• Communicate with the innate intelligence of nature
• Appreciate yourself as an integral part of nature
• Stimulate your desire to experience more
• Deepen your respect and reverence for our earth
Nature’s Secrets takes you on a magical journey into the heart and soul of nature with deeply personal, profound experiences. Your love for nature expands with deep connections made by seeing through the eyes of a bird, breathing through the lungs of fire, hearing through the ears of the trees, thinking in the mind of the stone, and nestling in the bosom of the Earth. Nature’s Secrets reveals the living power of the Earth by feeling her presence and transformative power. Discover what Dr. Alfred Etter meant when he said, "A tree is full of wonder and contains more answers than we have questions for."

What to Expect
Where to Stay
We start at 9:00 AM both Saturday and Sunday. We end about 9:00 PM Saturday and 4:00 PM Sunday.
The workshop follows the format of discussion, experiential activity, journal, sharing. The heart of the workshop is the experience and sharing. Prior to the activity, a discussion led by Ryan Gagala provides background and instructions. You are encouraged to ask questions to make sure you understand what to do. But don't worry, there is no wrong way to communicate with nature. The various experiential activities allow each person to have his or her own unique workshop. While the activities are common, each person brings a unique perspective making the activities highly personal and very profound. Your experience will be yours. Participants will be given time to journal on their experiences followed by voluntary sharing within the group. By sharing our experiences with each other, we both validate and deepen the meaning of our individual experiences. As a group, we become more in tune with nature and each other leading to even more profound unity.
There are both indoor and outdoor activities regardless of the weather conditions. Bring appropriate attire and layers for proper warmth. Don't forget rain gear. In the event of a lightening storm, we will delay an activity until the storm has passed. Rain will not deter an outdoor activity.
The fall colors attract visitors to the North Georgia mountains. Hotels and cabins fill quickly.
